Which is not always avoidable and usually short lived. Recommendation is usually to start with 2 days on and 1 day off and the session length is determined by age.

  • 2-4: 15 minutes
  • 5-8: 20 minutes
  • 9-14: 25 minutes
  • 15 an older: 30 minutes                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

The lowest session length tends to be 10 minutes, and the lowest frequency, every third day or twice per week. It is not advised to use the footbath for children who are on medications that { control or mitigate life-threatening seizures or support other life-sustaining functions[ medications that regulate heartbeat]
