The Center for Family Justice (formerly The Center for Women and Families) is excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes ™ event, co-sponsored by The Center for Family Justice and the Fairfield Police Department.
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes ™ will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014. This awareness Walk is for everyone, where men and boys take the first step to end violence against women and girls. The Walk begins with check-in at 8:30am, in downtown Fairfield and will end with program speakers, music and refreshments at the Town Hall Green. At last year’s Walk, we had more than 350 participants!
To register and to view photos from last year’s Walk, please visit our website Registration for the Walk is free. We are looking for individuals and teams to help us raise awareness as well as donations for our agency! The dollars raised from the Walk will help support our current services for domestic and sexual violence victims and to increase our education to men and boys about the prevention of violence against women and girls.
